by a group of local caravaners who had been rallying since 1977 based
in Burton upon Trent, Staffs. The Burton & District Caravan & Camping
Club is an independent enterprise having membership in the high 20’s
with members covering all age groups. The club is a member of ACCEO
(The Association of Caravan & Camping Exempted Organisations). |

The Castleton Owners' Club was founded in 1961 when Castleton Caravans
were being manufactured at Sherborne in Dorset by the Bennett family.
The vans were always made to a high hand built specification, with

Owners Club -
The Dandy Owners Club was set up in May 1995 for owners of Dandy Folding
Campers. As designs, with units that are 25 years old regularly attending
meetings. At the first meeting held at Sutterton Caravan and Camping
Centre 60 units were present and 21 of these are still members of the
club. |

The Historic Caravan Club was formed on January 16th, 1993 by a group
of Historic Caravan Enthusiasts at a meeting in Tetbury in Gloucestershire
with the aim of maintaining close contact in order to promote the restoration,
preservation, use and display of early historic caravans. |

We meet as a club at rallies, usually held once a month, from May until
October. The vans aren`t "winterised", but some members do
use them all year round. |

Rapido Caravan Club was founded in 1983 and since that time membership
has comprised all types of caravan made by Rapido; folders, pop tops
and motorhomes. Rapido models include Export-matic, Confort-matic,
Orline, Club, and Randonneur. The club also welcomes owners of post-1994
Esterel half folders. |

The Roma Club is run by owners of vehicles manufactured by Island Plastics
or Romahome Limited. The Roma Club was started in 1985 and has nearly
600 members.
It is run totally by its members to encourage interest in the Romahome,
Romini and other camping products manufactured by Romahome Limited
(Island Plastics). |

The TEC owners club was set up by a group of individuals who owned
TEC vans. It was formed in 2002 and has grown from strength to strength
ever since. |

Auto Camping Club -

Midlands Travel Caravan & Camping Club -

We Rally in most parts of the country, normally of a 5-day duration.
Linking in with other rallies in a not too distant location / area
to make a longer break. The Rally fee is normally based on a nightly
